Re-designing and Co-creating Innovative Cultural Heritage Services Through Libraries

The international project Re-designing and co-creating innovative cultural heritage services through libraries (iTSELF) is implemented within the European Union Erasmus+ program (Key activity 2: Strategic partnerships in adult education).

The project’s main goals are to determine the best existing library services/services related to cultural heritage and create new innovative services to promote cultural heritage. This project’s primary educational task is to train employees and create or modify existing services that would satisfy users’ demands and requirements. Therefore, the goal is to involve society as much as possible in identifying, preserving and using cultural heritage, developing training and educational materials for libraries, and making them available on the appropriate online platform (Massive Open Online Course – MOOC).

The project leader is the National Library of Latvia. Partners in the project are: Belgrade City Library, Serbia; Hacettepe University, Turkey; L’Université de Marne-la-Vallée, France; Tallinn University, Estonia; Foundation Stichting PRIME, Netherlands.
